The picture on the left is the most recent prophet, Muhammad. People say that the religion Islam didn't start before he migrated, so he had a big role in Islam.
Islam emerged in the 7th century, 612 C.E., with Prophet Muhammad who received the word from the angel Gabriel saying that he was the chosen one for the next prophet of Islam. People who believe in Islam are called Muslims and they believe in one God, called Allah in Arabic. Prophets of Islam were the people who were sent by Allah to mankind to teach them how to live according to His rules. Some of the prophets who were sent from Allah were Jesus, Moses, and Abraham, and the last prophet was considered Muhammad. Their rules are from the holy book, Qur'an and the Sunnah. Sunnah is a practical example of Prophet Muhammad and the 5 Pillars of Islam.
